Making a speech or presentation has been a challenge for me for the last sixteen years. However, I believe that the speech turned out better than what I had accepted. At first I felt unconfident because I had missed the day to peer edit. However, nicely Alena Koo helped my edit my speech. After getting my scrip edited, I was able to figure out which parts I should be discussing more deeply into and what sections I could skip. During my there were some words that I did not clearly say and parts where I had to pause and find where I was. Those mistakes could have been corrected when I was practicing. I should have practiced in front of my friends, but we were all too busy. Another thing is that I read off the script too much. I tried to create eye contract with the audience but it did not work our well.
After reading the speech evaluations, I learned some weaknesses. Next time, if I start the speech strong I should not lose my confident and end the speech strongly. Another is that I should keep eye contact with the audiences. I should try to memorize the script, but I relayed on it too much since it was with me the whole time. To get over stage fright, I should ask my friends be my audience and practice in front of them
